I just called the MVP line but I think they gave me the wrong information and I just want to double check. I have an upcoming flight on AA (ticketed and marketed and operated) in A class (First).

Does the 50% class of service bonus count towards elite qualifying miles or are the simply bonus miles like my MVP 50% bonus? The MVP agent said that I only get bonus miles when it's AS ticketed, marketed, and operated but I want to think she's wrong because not many people would fly AA and then credit to AS if that was the case. The website says that the 50% bonus applies to EQMs but that contradicts the CSR.

Can anyone clarify?
