DH doesn't consider it an obsession... just my hobby. He simply can't understand how I keep all the promotions straight... All he knows is that he's gone to Hawaii at least 4 times, lived very well while there, for not a whole lot of money all because I started reading Flyertalk .

My favorite promotion that I had to literally write down for him...

It's Oct - use the Skymiles card for home improvement stores, gas stations & supermarkets. Use Visa for everything else. BUT, in November, switch everything to the Visa except for supermarkets, gas stations and home improvements stores for which you use the AMEX. I got a few calls from him when he was shopping in total confusion when it came time to pay .
