Sites showing up in wrong language

Hi, all. I tried to do a search for this topic, but did not come across one. I wasn't sure how to title this...

I've used Hotels.com a few times recently for researching properties. I cannot remember if this problem happens on other sites, or just the Hotels.com one.

When I go to the site, it is often in the wrong language. I may see it in Dutch or French, quoting the price in Euros, and I have to go manually and change it to US and dollars. Today when I search for a Las Vegas hotel, even after I have changed the parameters, when I hit search, it reverts back to a foreign language.

I cannot figure out what is happening. Any ideas?

I'm using an iMac running OSX Yosemite and my browser is Chrome.

I don't know if it is the add ons-- I have Ghostery, Blur, Privacy Badger, and ....... Plus. On a separate note- overkill? If so, what should I cut?

Thanks!
