This hotel has been pretty good to me when it comes to point redemption availability; and it's one of the best in upgrading Diamonds on such stays too.

I would really be surprised if the property is pulling shenanigans to reduce award space opportunities; rather I would expect a very different dynamic than that. My suggestion: contact the hotel directly to see if they will make space available for a point booking when such space isn't showing up as available on hyatt.com.

I am assuming the Chase promotional nights book in the same kind of space as point nights.
