Anyone try new "rolling tote" yet?

For an overseas trip with checked luggage, I'm considering one of the new "rolling totes." Makers include TravelPro and Ricardo of Beverly Hills, the Magellans catalog has a similar item.

My other option would be taking the regular 22-inch rollaboard-type and putting my totebag inside. Then I could take the tote out to put under the seat in front of me and stash the rollaboard in the overhead.

Have any of you travel experts used one of these new bags and what are your comments?
