You can't get on the ground any quicker anyway and the chances of an unexpected go around are low.

When it really comes down to it, our cabin crew are excellent at primary medical care, so, the safety of the other 466/336/290 etc passengers is more important than rushing into something.
Interesting. It's happened to me three times now as operating crew. Have I been fibbed to?
