I requested to book my own travel. For the flights I can do great (and not really sure if there is a budget, but haven't hit it yet. Though I only fly domestic and never tried business, which is pointless anyway). For the hotels it is annoying because I don't know any contracted rates discounts, which someone who actually does it for a living would know (presumably).
