How many people are in the company? Is the company big enough to have formal rules for travel? What are these rules? Do they include the right for you to book your travel? Is this just a "new hire / first time" problem or something else?
What makes you think this is the case? Perhaps your boss just doesn't understand travel well and told the OTA to book the cheapest way?
because I told her my travel preferences which were preferred non stop and aisle seating and I ended up with the exact opposite. I think its a "its cheaper so it must be better" mentality. in a few weeks ill be booking my own travel so it will be much better
