ATC delays in Beijing and Shanghai airspace are legendary. Late June and early July, you are in monsoon season which can affect the coastal areas fairly severely, and Beijing also is at its rainiest. Since your schedule is so tight, you should place a high premium on reliability and predictability on this trip.
