If the passenger doesn't need to collect checked bags, is it better to change terminals airside and then do immigration in the Air Asia terminal or should one first go to immigration, which means a land side transfer between terminals? At SIN, all of the terminals are connected airside and you are free to do immigrations and customs in whatever terminal you want if you haven't checked any bags.
