I live in Bangkok. 10hrs, you could go to Siam Paragon and all the malls there, you could do the Grand Palace and a few traditional tourist sites like that, you could go foodie trawling around Ekkami and Thong Lo. Everyone speaks English, it'll be an easy mini trip, well worth doing.
