Apologies if this is covered somewhere, but I can't find anything specific...

I'm probably on a BA flight into NRT soon, booked as JAL. It's in WT+ / Premium Economy, and I'm a lowly bronze these days.

I can see the booking when I log into the EC site, but there are no seat-change options. Similarly I can't find much on the JAL site, but I've not used it before, so I might be missing something.

Their policies seem a *little* vague, but suggest that reserving a seat is, in fact, not possible for codeshare flights. Is that true? Are there any workarounds?

Unfortunately I get very little choice about these things any more...
