The changing table in most lavs is a simple fold-down platform located on the wall behind the toilet. It takes up no space when folded up, and I would imagine costs much, much less than installing wifi.

I'm not knocking wifi. I think that's a great feature and I'm looking forward to it being on all international flights too, but my point is that changing tables are a basic necessity for families traveling with small children.
