When I search for refundable fares on AA.com and go to hold an itinerary I get the option to upgrade for a little extra. My concern is that if I select the upgrade option the fare is no longer refundable. Can anyone shed light on this? Upgrade is a great price, but that is because the refundable coach fare was high, but if the upgrade is not refundable I can't do it
