I did not start this thread to bash Norwegian. They do offer the most affordable way to cross the Atlantic, by a factor of about 2 to 5, compared to any other airline (save for WOW Air; they also play some evil currency games with their Icelandic krona... but that's another story), so I'm willing to tolerate delays and poor service here and there. One-way flights to Europe under $150 can be had in winter/off peak season, even from the west coast. That's unheard of and Norwegian deserves praise for providing travel opportunities to Americans who could not otherwise afford to travel internationally.

I do not respect that they're overcharging US customers – well, anyone who doesn't pay in NOK, really – to a considerable extent.
