Now...this next part they post is interesting. It says OR...

"A same-day boarding pass showing Star Alliance Gold status, for travel within 24 hours on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline"

I would be in possession of a same day boarding pass showing Star alliance gold status. Now if they got sticky and said "for travel within 24 hours" suggest a future flight, well I'd have that too as my flight from MEX would be departing within 24 hours of me presenting myself to the lounge, and that flight is on Star and would reflect my status.

In the end I think I'm screwed here, I could ask, but I think the conventional entry requirements have me beat here and while the wording could be improved I don't think any lounge agent would let me in based on that premise haha
