I noticed that the free night certificate is converted into points when the booking is made. What happens when the reservation is canceled? Are points credited back or do I get the actual cert back somehow? I am asking as I have a 50k property reserved and want to switch to an 80k property. I'd hate to cancel, get 50k, and then not being able to book the property I want to switch to.
