I've had 4 new cards in the past 12 months and pretty sure more than 5 in 24 months (sorry, would have to reference CBR to be precise) and was just instantly approved with a high limit. It is only my second Chase card with the first being the Freedom.

I had planned on multiple other cards before the CSP, but since it's one I want long term I thought I better put it first in line with the underwriting changes.

For better or worse, some banks are moving beyond straight FICO and D/I in their underwriting matrices for these stated income credit products (although these metrics will certainly always be important).
