May I ask, out of sheer curiosity, whether you're planning to fly AZ more often (hence the status-match request) and if there's any reason behind (price, time...) or whether instead you're hoping to get MM status to give you the chance to access lounge etc. in case you time-to-time end up flying with them?
I'm also a fairly regular on that route (especially when based in our London offices) but book AZ just because of my Sky Team status.
