We used miles to book CRP-DFW-SJU and purchased the AA Seaborne ticket - always before, our reservation came in one email... this time, I received two emails from AA... The CRP-SJU-CRP part and another showing SJU-EIS-SJU.

Ah for the good old days of almost seamless AA flights and codeshares to the Caribbean...
