I've seen you mention many times that you often book directly with the hotel. I was wondering if you could perhaps write a little wiki on the process that you take; maybe with some sort of goals of your negotiation (ie % off BAR, additional amenity, upgrades etc)... I rarely have booked directly and so would love to see what sort of yields over using a travel agent you have achieved.
