well i will be flying between YVR and YUL roundtrip 4 times in the next qualifying period. One of the trips is an award already booked, a couple will be in J, and likely one other will be in Y on a 50 percent milage thing. Now for status miles in J i will only get 100 percent of miles flown, and then the 50% COS bonus(which is non-status) correct? so by my calculations I will have 2288 for each direction travelled times 4, and 1144 times 2 for the two trips in Y, this will total 11,440 status miles. As I am only 18 ive never qualified for presitge status and would really like to, my dad is elite but that doesnt help me upgrade at all, any suggestions to get another 7000 miles or so for the 2005 qualifying period?
