BA has 2 flights out of JFK that morning and cancelled one of them (BA 178). Apparently they couldn't reconfirm us on the earlier one that is still in operation because we were in first (award) and the earlier flight is sold out in first.

We asked them to try to get us on the earlier flight in business. They put in a request so hopefully it will be confirmed.

Word to the wise for anyone on BA 178 after June. Cancelled!
