Following up on this, everytime I check this only for return flights, but it's not entirely clear reading other threads on FT.

I'm flying One way via India to Australia. If transit time is 15 hours already, couldn't I pay a little extra to move to a flight the next day, and go for a room in Dubai? I'm not really sure how this works, but is there any way to get this done? All the while being in First class flights
