Is it normal to have my Virtuoso agent asking me for all the following personal information, address and phone number and the credit card number, expiration and security code... it seems like a lot of personal info to be sharing with one single entity I barely know. Even the hotel doesn't ask for a security code to simply guarantee the booking, nor do they ask for my address.

I wanted to call the hotel directly to provide my credit card info but the agent says apart of the hotel requiring the credit card to guarantee the booking all this information is needed to invoice the booking appropriately with their agency. I'm a little confused...I thought the hotel pays the agent's commission, what does it have to do with me?
