The flight attendant said nothing and just rolled the trolley back to the galley.

I would like to know if she should bother filing a complaint. If so, is she entitled to anything? Seems to me that the flight attendant or the catering workers must have left the trolley unlocked.
Just curious about this. Was she really in the very last row of a United Express plane and the cart - from the galley at the front of the place - rolled down the entire length of the aircraft until it reached her seat? That would be incredible. Maybe I am missing something in your description?

^^^^^^
A food cart should not have rolled out on its own, unless it was not completely secured, or it was a tremendous bumpy landing that loosen the securing knobs.
So next time when you get bruises or scratches, you should request a full written report and ask to be escorted to the airport clinic for a check-up.
And remember the name of the FA that push the cart back. All UA FAs are supposed to wear name tags.
A properly secured galley cart is not going to come out regardless of bumpy landings. Those things are designed to be fully safe in the event of really bad turbulence and such. Much more likely the FA failed to properly secure the cart prior to landing.
