My post was addressing your response in this thread about transport of the placenta. Some passengers want to make sure they can transport the placenta on their own flights after giving birth. [Weirdly enough, some do it so they can eat or even drink it. ]

In the UK, are passengers allowed to carry on or check in placenta on the common carrier flights, or do they have to engage a specialized shipping company/freight forwarder to do so?
