Probably a third of the time, the bill is under the door...although I kind of understand why some hotels are moving away from this. Absolutely. Hand them you CC when you check in. Check your bill under the door or on the TV or whereevery they have it for you and then leave. I never go anywhere near the front desk on the way you. Leave the key in the room. Of if it is a plastic CC size key, take it home and give it to the grandkids so they can pretend it's a CC.
