I think that depends on your travel plans. The GUF2 is useful and can be used on Avios and revenue bookings, but must be spent (not necessarily travelled) within one year. For revenue bookings you have to find a knowledgeable/willing TA as you can't use it directly on BA.com.

I did a TP run for a couple of hundred points one year to get one, and figured the £600 was worth it as we spent it on upgrading two WT+ returns to CW.

So if you fancy a nice extra holiday, and can find something at an acceptable price, then why not?

That said, my year reset yesterday and in a similar situation I decided it wasn't worth it for me this time. I have next year's big travel already booked so having another voucher didn't seem worth spending hard cash on.
