We stayed in a refurbished "Luxury suite 1 king bed" and we were very pleased with the hard product and I think the value for money was just terrific (The rate at Merrion for a similar room category was x2). The complimentary continental breakfast was also of high-quality. Overall impression was absolutely on par with FS. If I am to find something to criticise the in room dining and the Balfes restaurant was just ordinary.
Ditto in regards to the Westbury, a beautiful hotel in a superb location in the heart of Dublin, so far we've stayed with them 3x and we would stay with them again in our future.

Yes, the Merrion seems to be nearly always more expensive especially when booking into their Deluxe rooms and up. We stayed at the Merrion 1x so far, but their food options are wonderful, incl. the Cellar Bar & Restaurant IMHO. We hope to stay at the Merrion again.

In regards to the Four Seasons, now branded the IC, we've stayed there 2x at this beautiful property when it was still a Four Seasons incl. entrance category rooms /twin/ and we enjoyed a stay in one of their junior suites, the hotel I guess should be still "top notch" in terms of luxury, and we might stay there again in our future, it's a beautiful location in Ballsbridge and as an IC branded property receives equally positive feedback.
