True, however i also noticed this getting much better in recent years... When i started flying QR, there were indeed China flights without any announcements in Chinese; in the past two years or so, I can't remember this being the case anymore.

The question would indeed be, are they specifically chosen for the flight, or are there just so many Chinese FAs, that you are almost guaranteed at least one per flight anyway I shall inquire..
