Yes, but with Swissair you were never able to fly to London or Paris and return the same day for CHF100 + tax. It's just an attempt to adapt to a changed market environement.

Being in charge of all travel at my office, I know that people are no longer willing to pay CHF1000 or more for a same day return to London if they can get the same with a LCC for CHF150.
