Just ran into an issue while trying to load my RB. I bought a $500 VGC from Kroger and went to Target to load it. Went through the whole process fine (or it seemed like it), but at the very end, after the system said transaction was successful, it came back saying I entered invalid pin. So I tried again, and the same thing happened again. After the third failed attempt, I went home, called the number on the card, and reset my PIN to my own, thinking something was just wrong with the card's default PIN. Went back to Target again today trying to load the same card with my own PIN, but it kept doing the same thing again telling me I have invalid PIN. Has anyone seen this before? I've never had a problem loading these cards from Kroger before, loaded a bunch of them without any issues. Not sure what to try next...
Call the nr on the back of the gift card, have customer service re-set the pin. I had it happen once only on one VGC out of a batch of three, called and was told the pin was disabled due to me having entered the wrong one too many times (I don't believe so but anyhow), cust service re-set it to the last pin I used and I was able to load it.
