I stay quite a bit at Ibis Budget. I have found that for the price they can't be beat. I have never been charged for wi fi, breakfast cost has been very reasonable, and pretty good breakfast choices. In fact, I stayed at an Ibis Budget in Madrid, had a lot of cash with me, and of course being budget they had no safety boxes. When I told them of my concerns, they arranged with an Ibis a few blocks away to let me use a safety box at their hotel. Now that's what I can great CS.
