Okay, I don't think DL will have any interest, but it was a fun confluence of the clamoring among some for DL to get the latest and greatest and DL's affinity for bargain planes. Besides, I am amused by what a ridiculously bad business decision the A380 was - I'm not sure it is possible for a company to more completely misread the market than Airbus did.
Interesting thought but can’t see DL ever getting into the A380. Among the aircraft’s many problems, one is that the cargo hold is much too small. It seems the plane comes off the lot with much too much of its own baggage.
Feeling bad for Airbi but this plane was not well thought out. OTOH, good news for Boeing and their 787.
