When I went to go cancel, I saw that canceling for a full refund with no fee was an option so I took it (made it easier for accounting purposes on the company credit card).
I then rebooked with the correct date, but only the value fare was left. Bummer! But at least I received a refund on what was supposed to be a nonrefundable fare.
Was I just lucky? Or is there some sort of leeway for mistakes?
I believe, like airlines, you have 24 hours to cancel w/o penalties on any fare.
