I would fly normally. If GfL gets enhanced away then it is just as likely to affect those over 35k as it is those striving to get there. If you fly F for your holidays then why stress about Gold vs Silver.

If you are at 34.5k and feel like closing the gap with a personal spend then why not but at 33k I would just carry on a bit longer.
