Then it looks to me, they 'relied' more on the e-ticket number than on the actual boarding pass. I scanned my boarding pass only not the e-ticket, so they must have entered the e-ticket number from the BP in the system and that's it… Still strange, that for my partner retroclaim was correct (e-ticket numbers were in sequence, e.g. mine was ...42, my partner's was ...43) while mine went somewhat to my favor.
