I am looking to get a one-way flight in J on a Star Alliance airline but it seems next to impossible. I found a cheap flight on ANA, flight 2, that leaves August 26th.

I am trying to leave at the end of August. I am currently in Japan; I spoke with an ANA representative (I have a very small amount of miles on ANA) and he basically said the only way to get a J seat is to buy a J ticket, full fare (about $4000). Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't mind coach but for a 13.5 hour flight back to IAD, I highly prefer J.
