There's no need to gamble or enter into pain thresholds, just look at the fare rules. Yeah airlines suck and are tricky but there are transparent policies when you engage in a contract like this. So read these rules! Considering how our loyalty now means less and less, this is all we got as customers (that and an NDP government that will impose eu level passenger "rights" policies).
Within the rules and tariff look at policies on ticketing, segments, ticketing segments, etcetc. and whether they will accept a segment out of order.
With respect to a ticketing issue like this, airline operating does not matter, which company(companies) ticketed you does. If it's all on aeroplan on one ticket , or a conjunction because you have an open jaw or two, and you no show on one segment, then you have an unused segment and you need to refer to the policy as to whether they can collect from the segment after an unused one.
So read the rules and let us know (or put them up here, most of us have nothing better to do). Or call the call center and ask (they will read off the rules).
And dude, don't take any risks with no-showing for any leg other than your last.
