The biggest problem with the DUB overnight (Which I've done several times in the last couple of months) is the fact that the two walkable hotels from the terminal (Radisson and Maldron) are both essentially dumps that aren't consistent with what one expects from a major airport hotel. The better hotels require a shuttle which eats into precious sleep time if you're doing the LIFO approach.
