I thought I can book ORD-HKG, DELHI, stop over in HKG for 30k Alaska miles on Cathy Pacific Coach seat flights but the Alaska rep told me India is not considered in South east Asia zone and therefore would be 20k additional miles from HKG. Is that right? Told me ORD-HKG-Delhi would be 50K miles one way.

Can you advice me on this?

My final destination is KTM, Nepal but they don't fly there so I can just buy tickets or use united miles on Air india for that 2 hour flight.
