Since we plan to only visit the park for one day I'm thinking of staying somewhere nearby and just driving in and out of the park on the same day. Problem is that LA is 4+ hours away by car so I'm hoping somebody has some suggestions for nice hotels that are closer to the park. I have points with Hilton, SPG, Hyatt, and Club Carlson. Thanks!
Use awardmapper.com to find hotels on points in your programs near Sequoia. However, the programs you have points in are rarely good for finding hotels in rural/small town area. Maybe you will a Hampton Inn that will work. Good luck.
