During check in, the FD asked if I would like to purchase lounge access at SGD$60 /room (before tax). Based on this comparison, it might actually be more worth it to just book a basic room, get free upgrade to a business room and pay for the lounge access. Still cheaper than paying for the NOR1.

Do note that for CCS, their basic room, business room and executive room are exactly the same with the exception of a coffee machine in business and executive room.

As for breakfast, regardless of which room I'm staying, I'll just walk in to Oscar's and have my breakfast there. It can pretty crowded but the spread is the best and I found out last month that they've added a froyo machine too.
