I am thinking about taking a trip to China later this month. I will definitely be staying in Hong Kong and Beijing. I am not sure where else I will visit but Xi'an is a possibility or maybe stopping by Shanghai. I have my two free hyatt nights from the hyatt credit card and was wondering which properties in China they would best be used at? Also, I have a bunch of URs saved up so I was thinking about paying for a number of other stays with points. Any recommendations on the best properties would be highly appreciated. Also, is there any reason to signup for the status challenge with Hyatt before this trip if I am paying with points? Maybe if I do a cash/point mix?
