As far as involving DOD in domestic airport security I would suggest studying up on the law that prevents the deployment of the military inside of the United States in most cases.

Thank you for pointing this out. I'm familiar with this but I wonder how we draw line between what is foreign and what is from the outside. Not sure. Thinking about the shoe and underwear explosives people.... should we consider them domestic threat or foreign threat?
