Yes I was in a middle seat for 10 hours on a night flight from Los Angeles to Geneva about 13 years ago. It was surprisingly bearable.

However I believe that in those days they had 1 seat less on every row but later on they added 1 more, like all the other airlines. They used to pride themselves on having 1 less than all the other airlines.
