Travelocity shows the fare classes (and the most complete set of rules of any online booking engine if you want to read them) you are booking in when you go into "Hold" or "Buy". Gives you a chance to see how the fare is constructed. If you don't like the fare at this point, you don't have to proceed to an actual purchase.
On Travelocity, for simple flights you can also book the fare class by going through the menus a certain way (ie finding fares available and then booking that fare)--doesn't work for multi-segment itineraries where you want specific flights though.
