I love to eat bento during those longer train journeys... it is just the novelty factor. Actually, the bento food is surprisingly tasty. The bento places in Hakata Station and the bread shop there were really good.

I also noticed that food at Japanese airports are more tasty and reasonably priced compared to those found in the USA. They don't try to gouge you with $4 bottled waters either.
