FYI, requested a status match from 2 other gold programs. They declined the match, but gave me a room upgrade certificate.

Very nice gesture but unfortunately we can't use them as the next 2 stays are for properties that don't honor the certs. I actually noted one of the properties in my e-mail and referenced an upcoming res.

Oh well! Still a nice gesture.
